NCL (NCAR Command Language) is a programming language developed for the visualization and analysis of weather and climate data. It supports various data formats (such as NetCDF, GRIB, HDF) and is specialized in visualizing and analyzing atmospheric and climate data. NCL offers powerful visualization capabilities for generating high-quality graphs and maps, along with analytical tools for statistics, data filtering, and interpolation. Its functionality is now also being supplemented by Python libraries like PyNGL and PyNIO.
